I made this site because I saw a communication gap between students from different institutions within Mumbai University. There was no channel to collaborate, interact, and share knowledge and experience with each other. MUEngg.com will bridge that missing link, a platform for collaboration, to create new possibilities.
Imagine some of the possibilities.
There can be project collaboration between students from various collages. If you are looking to do something for which you require inputs from people from other colleges use the mumbai university engineering forums to connect with them. It may be because you are in Electronics and trying to design a robot and you need inputs from a mechanical engineer and your college does not offer that filed or for any other reason.
Form study groups to keep you on track, prepare study plans, and share it with people. Doing well in engineering is not easy and planning and coordination with friends will help you achieve your goals. Collaborate and divide chapters to prepare pointers/ sides and upload them here. That brings me to the next possibility.
If you have soft (or scanned) copies of question papers, notes, syllabus, etc, upload them in the forums. Sharing will help improve your karma
.
In the first year I joined some coaching classes that did not help me too much in particular; I think that could have been avoided if I had appropriate feedback from people who have joined that professor or coaching classes. Share your experience here.
Engineering is just a milestone there will be bigger things in your life. it is after graduation your true world journey begins. Whether you decide to purse higher education or decide to work, there is always help available if you discuss your situation.
Engineering was one the best learning phases in my life, filled with success stories and failures, some mine some of my friends. I bet everyone who graduated from Mumbai University has something to contribute here but there was no way to do it. Well, now there is one…! Jump in to the forums and introduce yourself in the alumni corner and help out a few students.
Promote and discuss the upcoming events like cultural and technical festivals. Share News from your college campus etc.
These are only some of the possibilities, much more can be done, be creative and oh, welcome on-board..!
